The problems here and in large measure those uncovered in the Fla. election seem to be more a case of individual voters without the basic knowledge than a question of paper trails, electronic voting or punch cards. Maybe it is simply time to recognize that you have to demonstrate proficiency in using the voting method in your precinct to get registered.
