When Cindy first came on she got a lot of sympathy because she wanted to ask shrub "Why her son died?" And his inability to look a a mother in the eye and say the usual nonsense was devastating. It made him look like a coward. Imagine what would have happened to the GOP if she just said "I guess he's afraid, to talk to a little old lady like myself."

But the problem for the "anti-war movement" is two-fold.
1) They don't have an answer for the sh*tstorm that would happen when the US leaves before creating some sort of order.
2) "Protesting Left" have the shrillness and smugness of a right wing "Christian."

Let's skip the first one because it's too complicated and a bit off topic, but look at the second one.

I'll be the first to admit that there's an unfair bias against the left in this country, even without that bias Americans really don't like protesters regardless if they are Conservatives protesting Elian, Terri, Abortion Clinics or Liberals protesting War.

That still doesn't mean the "protesting left" turns off the vast numbers of Americans. There's a reason why the support for the war has been eroding despite the lack of an organized "Anti-War" Movement. You have the facts coming in every day, as opposed to video of people comparing Bush/Republicans/Israel/Christians to Hitler/Nazis, wackos shouting conspiracy theories, and hippies protesting for legalization of Pot.

What can Liberals do? Americans only turn to liberals when there's a big enough sh*tstorm of Conservative's making.
