1. With all of the saber-rattling in the Middle East, I'm surprised...
...Saudi Arabia hadn't already done this.

Another thought comes to mind...if they were really behind 911 like some people would have us believe, why wouldn't they have procured nuclear weapon knowledge long before ordering the attacks?

At last count, the NeoCons would have us believe the following:

--WMDs in Iraq was the primary justification for war...they just haven't been found yet;

--Syria is safe-keeping Iraq's WMDs and supports terror attacks on Israel...a good reason for Israel and/or the U. S. to attack Syria;

--Jordan has not been as supportive as the NeoCons would like...attack them too;

--Pakistan definitely has WMDs...but they're our "friend" despite reports of Al Qaeda operating from that country;

--Iran must have WMDs so the first step toward an attack is to send in the "UN" inspection teams;

--And to justify the long PR campaign to justify an attack on Saudi Arabia...Saudi Arabia is getting nuclear data from Pakistan, and despite the FBI Director's comments that we really don't know who the attackers were, they obviously came from Saudi Arabia. Oh, did I mention they have the largest oil reserves in the world?
