you don't follow celebrity news.

But from what I understand, Michael Jackson is not in a position to cut a check to anyone.

He's about to lose everything he has.

So, maybe this will help him get some good publicity and benefit his career, and maybe it won't.

But the fact remains, the proceeds are going to be donated to the victims, and I think that's more than a just a "cheap photo op".

Just MHO, though.

You're certainly entitled to yours.
