2:30PM: The indices head back to the flat line, and are currently trading in mixed fashion...

While the trade balance data that hit the morning's wires did nothing to help sentiment within the stock and bond markets alike, the less-than-expected trade deficit boosted the buck today. The rise in import prices, which, including oil, was the highest in 15 years, added to inflation concerns that further helped the dollar as traders speculate more rate hikes will be imposed by the Fed.
