1. I just got back from a trip to San Luis Potosi
and the talk there is all about some superhighway to be built from MX to Canada crossing the US. It is to be 18 lanes wide.

Here is the kicker......the ports in MX are being bought by the Chinese and the Saudis who then plan to use this highway to dump goods into the US from the ports and MX.

I don't know if this is true and this is the first I have heard about any such highway....anyone out there hear anything about this?

I can't remember if it is the Japanese or Chinese that control the Panama Canal, but if this rumor is true, then boys and girls, kiss what's left of mfg in the US goombye.

The folks I spoke with are all excited about it as they seem to think with the cheaper labor they are the country with the most to gain. The Canadian gentlemen I was with, shared my concerns and didn't agree with the MX contingent we were with.

Anyhow, any light any of you out there can shed on this would be greatly appreciated. The MX's seem to think this is all part of Bush Sr and Jr's "new world order" he is always talking about. I didn't know enought about the subject to speak well on it, but would love to learn more.
