97. And then what...
As much as I love the idea of arresting Bush and Cheney (and essentially everyone else in the administration that is just as guilty of war crimes), we would have to ask ourselves, "Then what?" Do we send everyone off to the Hague to be tried? Certainly, authorities would not allow their extradition. Do we try them in an American courtroom? It would never happen.

Nothing could ever happen. America protects its war criminals, no matter how unpopular.

In reality Brattleboro is making a statement. They are simply saying stating that they do not Bush and Cheney stepping into their community. I think this is an effective way to tell the administration that they are hated. Kudos to Brattleboro and every community across America that follows its lead.
