6. There are already laws against "abusive lawsuits"
What Bush is looking for is protection against LEGITIMATE lawsuits. This is the tip of the iceberg. He wants to be able to coerce any company to do his dirty work for him, and be able to promise them immunity using the Telecoms as a precedent. But more importantly, he wants to make sure that NO LAWSUITS are filed at all, so that the depth of his evildoing will not be exposed. You can BET he's been wiretapping Democrats.
