96. And Ford still insists on closing it's Ranger plant in St. Paul
Ford ranger sales are up! That's the little pickup truck that was struggling in sales for years as folks bought 10 MPG dumptrucks to go to the store in.

But now..... they're popular again. The plant that has given generations of Minnesota people good jobs (and every Twin Cities school-child an unforgettable tour!) is still there, still making Rangers. Still making it's own electricity with it's own hydro-electric plant in the Mississippi.

But it will get closed anyways. Sometime in 2009. Because jobs for Americans is sooooooo 1979!

They say maybe condos can go in there.

Oh wait! That housing thing........................
