If McCain/PALIN had won, he'd be boasting about his stupid joke. Defeat has allowed that much reality to sink in for Republicans, that at least they can see something they did was stupid. Maybe next week he'll admit supporting George Bush all those years was stupid. . . . Nah. Then he might feel guilty about all that damage to America and the world. If he wants to sleep at night, he's gotta keep rationalizing some stupidity.
