I don't know if they've changed the paper-work, but when I enlisted in 86 in the small print of one of the myriad of forms it basically stated that should conditions warrant it, anyone who enlisted could be recalled at any time after they signed on the dotted line. Basically they own you for life if the conditions warrant it, and since they get to decide what conditions warrant what, well... you can see where it leads. And yes my retarded ass still signed. They haven't recalled me yet and I have my fingers crossed. The wife says she'll send me to Canada before she'll let them have me.

I'm still amazed at the number of people who didn't read every last page when signing and are surprised by this. But then I found it and still bought the b.s. that it would "never happen".
