There is a lot at play here. SK unemployment stands at 3%. We get a huge number of our semiconductors from them.

War starts, things go bad. Not just for them and us but for that whole region.

There is a very tight line that is being walked right now.

god forbid a war starts, it will be met with massive retaliation by the South. They want it over and done with quick. It will make Iraq look like a walk in the park. China will protest massively, but in the end, I seriously doubt they will lend NK any help, except humanitarian aid afterward.
