3. evil days-weeping hostages, dead soldiers, civilians
what a disaster this country has become-if someone told me in 1998 that we would occupy Iraq I would have asked them to go to detox-I just keep thinking of steve mcqueen in the movie the "sand pebbles" lying wounded on the ground about to die-"what happened? this wasn't supposed to happen"- maybe my country will awake from the intoxication of force finally and begin to follow the path of FD Roosevelt and be a good neighbor to the world-when will we realize therein lies our strength? We have paid for this arrogance with our blood and our treasure (tax cuts in wartime-BTW how much is the insurgency costing the budget now?)Just think how a small part of the military budget for Iraq would have helped people in the world if spent for humanitarian purposes? Bush is simply immoral
