After getting fired from his MSNBC television show earlier this week for an anti-gay tirade, for which he subsequently apologized, the Talk Radio Network syndicated host was taken off the air at Entercom News/Talker WRKO/Boston and Salem Talk outlets KRLA/Los Angeles and WWTC/Minneapolis. WRKO OM/PD Mike Elder tells R&R that he discussed his concerns about the incident with TRN CEO Mark Masters and that Savage was to return to WRKO last night...

Bob Foster, the caller who precipitated Michael Savage's now infamous "get AIDS and die" rant that got him fired at MSNBC last weekend, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that he's already "getting a lot of hate mail from the Savage nation." Foster is said to be a regular prankster on radio and TV talk shows, with his goal being to plug his favorite radio program, Westwood One's Don and Mike Show.
