9. This is nothing new.
Drivers licence agencies get names of teenage boys and hound them endlessly. I was in Maryland when I turned 18 and had to register (this was well after Vietnam), but I also had an old learner's permit in Florida. Florida hounded me for years about not registering in that state, which I moved out of when I was 15.

What freaking idiots who think that Selective Service somehow just went away.
