3. Wrong is wrong no matter who does it.
and we know how fast the GOP rescinds some of their boneheaded ideas when a Democrat gets hold of them. Look at the line item veto idea and how fast they killed that one by running to the Supremes as soon as Clinton got his hands on it.

It seems to be the only way either party realizes an idea is really, really stupid. I mean, who knew having a minimal FICA overpayment go to pay for a war would translate into hiking the premiums 6 times and using them as a back door tax increase on the poorest people? Not Johnson or any of the Dems in Congress! Some of us here in workaday land objected, but who ever listens to we the people?

I can't think of any equivalently dimwitted things the Dems have proposed lately, although I'm sure they'll come up with a few things when they get back into power.

In the meantime, we can't be hampered in speaking out against the outrages the GOP is committing against the heart and soul of the US because of some addlepated notion of fairness. Wrong is wrong, and we are duty bound to speak out against it at all times.
