That's the question the Bush apologists can't or won't answer.

They've decided in their own, tiny little minds that local and state are to blame.

Okay, let's say that's the case, just for the sake of argument. Then how come their "bold, decisive, making-us-safe war president" just let the whole house of cards tumble to the ground at that point?

Maybe they just don't want to say it out loud: Bush is a phony. He's no leader. He's an idiot, and a wuss.

Must suck to be a Bush-bot these days.
