She is either the stupidest person to ever be given such a public forum to lie, or she is just plain nuts. She consistently libeled Al Gore during the 2000 presidential campaign and yet in many quarters she is hailed as this staunch liberal. Staunch liberals don't constantly stab their own presidential hopefuls in the back with their poison pen, and make up quotes to make them look retarded. Anyone remember the bogus John Kerry quote designed to make him look like some kind of snob, "Whom among us doesn't like Nascar"? He NEVER said that, yet Dowd and her psychotic brethren flogged it to death at the time. No, she is no friend to the liberal/progressive cause. She's just batshit crazy.
