...not all of us who grew up poor and without resources relied upon contracts with the devil (or at least the military industrial complex devil) to get an education and make our ways into something resembling the middle class. The "troops" do have choices, although I suspect that few of them really know it.

on edit: just to make my point clear, I do indeed know what it's like to be poor and have limited choices. But there ways out of poverty that don't involve murder for hire.
