That's why I find this all so absurd. Ordinary Americans political allegiances can be as morphous as the shifting sands. Why do we think that these DLC folk have any real "loyalty" to the Democratic base? Why are "former Democratic pollsters" like Luntz allowed to occupy positions in circles of talking heads as if they were speaking for the Democratic party? Why do we give a F*CK what Al From has to say? These people follow the scent of the green, and right now its firmly up the ass of the shrubbery. Like most people, they will say whatever it takes to keep their pockets padded, and make their lives more comfortable. They aren't altruistic, they aren't democratic, they aren't even all that pragmatic. These left-right paradigms have only served as a mechanism for people like this guy to ply his trade in aquiring corporate cash on one hand, and the sheepishly devoted votes on the other...and never the twain shall meet...

Maximum legally permissible contribution to the most radical right wing Administration in recent history...

Perhaps someone should speak to these DLC folks about the company they choose to keep, no pun intended of course...
