57. Soft voices don't get attention.
I'm afraid Americans aren't into soft voices and meditative experiences. People want discussion that gets them worked up.

The only person I heard her bully was Nader, and I'm sorry to tell you (because I think that's your main problem with her), she said exactly what I wanted to say to him. He has ME extremely angry too.

I'm a gentle person at heart, but I've decided that turning the other cheek does not work with the kind of people we're dealing with. The time is long past that we can stand meekly by while they trample us into the dirt.

I'm sorry they have made us into a coarser society, but they have. Politeness no longer works. They see it as weakness and acquiescence.
