Just had a "debate" with my neighbor...

I told him about the vintage store I am opening in a few weeks and how I am nervous due to the economic climate in our country. Well he starts in with, "that is why we need to keep the tax increase Dems out of office". I quickly responded that that is exactly who I am voting for and that he is going to increase taxes only on those making $200,000 plus. I also said that our taxes have gone up under * and that the rich are making out like bandits. He said that they are the ones that create the jobs, and I said yes, in China and India. I said to him that Bill Gates gets 4.3 billion back this year and is sending jobs abroad. I said that Kerry said he cannot stop it (outsourcing) but that we should not have to subsidize it. Then he said Kerry wants to get rid of some marriage benefit and I asked where he got the info, he said "hannity". I said "that right-wing freak, you need to listen to Lou Dobbs", to which he said that "left-wing freak". I said as he walked away, "Lou Dobbs is a conservative and a good American". I got to tell you I thought this guy was smarter than that.
