1. It would help if Woodward were someone anyone believed.
His post-Watergate life has been so questionable that some of us are even questioning his Watergate findings, wondering if he made them up and got lucky.

Who remembers his deathed interview with William Casey?

And even though I agree with him on JFK, I know a lot of DUers don't.

It's easy to dismiss charges from a tainted journalist. There is no reason the Democrats would go out on a limb on this guy's word. They may even believe it is a trap. Picture the White House feeding Woodward bad info just so the Democrats would make a stink and then be embarrassed when Bush could prove it wrong. They did that to James Hatfield, remember? They tried something similar with Al Gore and the debate tapes.

Write Dems, get them to investigate, but if we start shouting IMPEACHMENT on the words of Bob Woodward, we won't get far. He's got no evidence, and mixed credibility.
