When Bush uses an odd pronunciation or unusual jargon, often you'll hear it repeated by the RW-sympathizers in the media.

I don't think it's an accident. These people aren't totally ignorant. I think they do it a little bit as a joke, but it achieves two purposes: it sort of normalizes what is otherwise a mistake, and it sends a signal to the Republicans that they're on their side.
