The source for the Year and GDP is Government Statistics - Section 10 has the historical GDP table.

I know they said "private sector GDP" - I'm not quite sure what that is or exactly how it's measured. But, overall GDP growth was higher before Bush's tax cut - the 2004 number is estimated.
