6. I'm not sure what to think...
I keep looking at all the angles. I can't get it out of my head the possibility of some sort of statement being made. It just seems odd to me that no one seemed to know that they'd be leaving early. One would think that had this departure been common knowledge, BushCO would have released some sort of announcement beforehand, at least one that would not prompt even a network like CNN to advertise it as "breaking news." Why even allow for the possibility of attention being drawn?

I don't know what constraints were placed on the commissioners as a result of this weird deal they made for Rice's testimony. I'm not sure anyone does fully except those involved. If it were me and I wanted to draw attention to the farce but was otherwise under a legal obligation not to say a word else find myself and my family victims of a witch-hunt, I'd do something like this ... just leave ... give an excuse afterward that fulfilled the terms of my deal with the devil, but let me make some sort of statement nonetheless.

Shrub's statements afterward were simply bizarre, so friendly they came off as even more fake than he normally is. Same for the official comments from the commission.

Maybe I need a hat :tinfoilhat: but I can't help but think there's more to this than the official story.
