The last time Britain and the US had a "special relationship" was between the Evil Hag Thatcher and that bastard Reagan and between the two of them they brought the world to the brink of nuclear war. When the Chimp (or whoever's pulling his strings) decides who to wage war on next then I think he's on his own. Your country has just given him a mandate to do whatever he wants in the name of "Freedom", greed and the good old American Way of Life. I don't suppose that will worry him too much, though - you are, after all, the people God chose to rule the world and the rest of us are just fucking worthless foreigners. I know this is true - I saw it on TV the other night in a BBC report on a bunch of Bush supporters having a lovely little church service in which some right wing lunatic people-hater foamed at the mouth and screamed from the pulpit that the Apocalypse is just around the corner and, when it arrives, gays, left wingers and anyone who wasn't just like him would be doomed.
