But I'm guessing that question must have been preceded by something like "did you go with your mommy or daddy to vote?" or my daughter may have volunteered that she went to "vote" on election day. When she goes with me, she thinks of my vote as hers as well, and it is common for her to say "I voted for so-and-so".
