I re-read your post. So you fill up before, eh? How does that bring the oil companies LESS money overall? They do their books on a quarterly basis, so a 3 to 4 day fluctuation is meaningless.

Wanna really spank them? Walk. Bike. Carpool. Vow not to drive one day per week, habitually. Get a motocycle or a hybrid and lower you consuption PERMANENTLY.
