If you keep it in a dollar denominated deposit you may still end up unwittingly feeding the beast. You could also end up losing the value of your savings if the dollar crashes and inflation takes off. The currency is definitely Bush's Achilles Heel. A severe run on the dollar is more likely to kill his second administration stone dead than any other event. It looks like a lot of the people in the international financial markets are determined to sell the currency because they do not think the US can service it debts. The mood is so strong that even the good news of the 370,000 jobs increase in Friday's payroll figures could not stem the slide. You can join the fun by converting at least part of your money into Euro's, gold, silver etc. With luck you will enjoy the sight of Georgy boys war machine falling apart from lack of cash while you make a turn on your investment. It will be fitting karma if those who worship money are destroyed by it.
