10. Sandstorm, so is my state - so we start local -
then statewide - then national - and that's exactly why I jumped on the Tony Knowles for Senate bandwagon yesterday. Our 2-term centrist Dem governor just announced he will go against Lisa Murkowski in '04. He has a strong chance, and would be the first Dem Alaskan in federal office in a generation.

Start local.

Gray Davis inherited much of the California budgetary problems, and the * misAdministration compounded them with their underhanded energy industry manipulating. It will be a shitstorm for sure if/when he is recalled - and I don't think it's one the Repukes really are ready for.

At any rate, I'm ass deep in local/state Dem party politics, and although I really want to see another Dem majority in the House/Senate, I only have so much energy to go around.

nsma, I'm with you 100% - gee, we always seem to agree politically :D
