9. Actually, Spurger has no industry
Spurger isn't big enough to even have a Walmart- yet anyway. It's a small, SE Texas town that is primarily a mill/timber town.

And about TWIRP- This is a local tradition, where the kids have a The Woman is Required to Pay (TWIRP) day, with a dance that night for the older kids. It's been done for decades in this area (even when I was in school), and no one has ever raised the threat of legal action.

And the woman who is afraid of having to discuss these issues with her 4 year old was ok with the Camo Day. Apparently violence is ok, but cross dressing (even in fun) is not.


I had just posted this in LBN, coincidentally, because I live in this area. These are the type of nutcases we're up against- people who think that a good natured dress swap day leads to cross dressing!
