democrats are united and energized as never before ... and nothing will suck that energy dry faster than more appeasement of republicans ...

the "pick your battles" argument is bullshit ... every action taken by democrats in Washington is under significant scrutiny by the legions of democrats who fought so hard in this election ... i don't think there's much margin left for more disappointment ...

democrats need to understand that, being in the minority, we will lose almost every battle in the Congress ... but the REAL battle is how we motivate and energize our own troops ...

trust me, Senator Corzine is dead wrong if he thinks the energized base of the Democratic Party will respond well to rolling over and going along to get along ... we want to fight the neo-con bastards on each and every battle ... this is about building a movement of activists within the party, both left wing and moderates, and not about picking your battles ...

time is short; the party is at risk ...
