10. How is it a bad thing?
>Increased availability of high-capacity, high-power military-style >weaponry is good why?

How about restoring a level of trust for law abiding gun owners that
was taken from us 9 years ago?

>Two shots from an AK, into a deer, will leave you about as much >usable meat as you get in a pound of burger, at the butcher's.

What does hunting have to do with "Increased availability of high-capacity, high-power military-style weaponry"?

I've never hunted in my life nor have I ever had a desire to.
State laws vary but in most hunting with an AK or AR style rifle
is ileagal for a number of reasons: some ban the use of a semi-automatic rifle, the cartridge used is too underpowered, one can't use
a magazine capable of holding more than 5 rounds. An execption though
is that an accurized version of the AR-15 is popular with ranchers for varmint control.
