Lieberman has demonstrated time and time again that he's willing to say things that aren't popular. He spoke out in support of voucher pilot programs before an audience of union members. He spoke out in support of the invasion of Iraq before a solidly anti-war California Democratic conference. Please tell me what other Democrats have been willing to say things that they know will get them booed?

Well, as a Senator, his actions consist primarily of voting. And his voting record is solidly pro-choice, pro-environment, pro-civil rights, and anti-Bush economic policy. He's joined in all the filibusters of right-wing Bush judicial appointees. He voted against the Ashcroft nomination. He's opposed efforts to open up drilling in ANWR. He's voted against the Bush tax cuts.
