My support for peace demonstrators goes back a ways.

Don't fault me for falling for the anti-Viet Nam War talk I heard at the feet of George McGovern and Martin Luther King and many others.

They were very important influences to me.

I haven't made any statement in favor of anybody dismantling my civil rights or the civil rights of others. If you can find that statement on DU or elsewhere, post it.

If not, I request that I be left to my leftist preference for peace over the Bush administration's propaganda.
