27. Well, hells bells. To review, the assault on a sovereign --
-- nation was flagrantly illegal. Opposition worldwide was persuasively significant and called / calls into question the role of nations as international citizens.

Those demonstrating to mark the anniversary of that assault are doubtless conscionable people and their cause is a just one. I support their effort; indeed I took part in it.

It wasn't the first time. It won't be the last.

My objection, as stated in reasonably clear prose, was to the grandstanding over the Schiavo case, and in previous posts on DU and elsewhere I have named names: Tom DeLay, Dubya, and the generic right-wing ministers whipping their flocks into a "Save Terri" media circus.

I posted in this thread in support of Kathy in Cambridge, as she has consistently made sense on the progressive agenda and I feel that she could easily follow the path of my post.
