13. No, they are winning...
...via 24/7 TV and Radio propaganda. There IS no other news.
Christianity has taken over the airwaves. Terri's life means nothing to them.

From today's DU front page:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/articles/05/03/23_onslaught.html

They have captured all air time nationwide with one subject. It occluded the protests on the 2nd anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. It is still doing its propaganda job as they work feverishly behind our backs to complete the raping and pillaging of America.

This has nothing to do with poor Terri Schiavo, a pawn, but continued control over the masses via hysteria and fear. Hers is a lose-lose case with no happy outcome.
I agree with the eloquent argument offered in "The Onslaught", we Democrats need to become more coherent and focused.
We have a tough battle ahead but not an insurmountable one.
Let's label them right back.

Republicans:

Raw Deal Republicans
Cheap Labor Conservatives
Regressive Republicans (substitute NeoCons at will)

Blue NeoDem Progressives are on the move and we will not be stopped from getting the information out there. We'll have to go local for 2006 and win back some seats.
