to actually conjure up the supernatural, which is what the miracles encompass and bring it to bear on this problem. A lot of fundies fall down in 'rapture' but its really doing what they believe they are supposed to do when 'overcome by the Holy Spirit'. I love it on Benny Hind when someone who doesn't know he's supposed to fall down when he taps them on the forehead just stands there. Or someone is tapped and hesitates, then sort of sits down. That's why those extra men are standing there, to keep it as real looking as they can.
