I'm tired of being angry, tired of being on the losing end of everything when I know we should have won, tired of being sick and tired. There's just too damn much to worry about these days. And I'm tired of it all. Tired of sitting here googling news and checking blogs every spare minute. Tired of feeling my ass grow wider with each passing minute I sit here. Tired of apathetic people looking at me shocked and saying, "No.... REALLY?" Tired of wanting to grab every Repug-looking person I see and rattle them silly (btw, I'm convinced I know who they are just by the way they look). Tired of explaining to my 4yo that Kerry is not going to win.

But I have to believe through all the gloom and doom, all the bitterness, all the dark days, that there is enough goodness and enough fight left in us to give hope to what's left of America. That's what I come here for. Hope. And you, my comrades-in-arms, give me that.

BUT... P.S. the force-feeding must come ONLY after he's impeached, loses everything, then has a long, extended, catastrophic illness while he tries unsuccessfully to support himself and his family only on Social Security and his wife's night job at a local diner, then tries to pay for his medical bills with Medicaid only, but can't, tries to file bankruptcy, but can't, and ultimately loses his home to Saudi creditors, just in time for the subpoena from the International War Crimes tribunal to come knocking. Last but not least, all of it is covered 24/7 by the CNN, MSNBC and FOX and streamed into our homes. How's that for obsessed?
