There has been a huge amount of discussion and anger here because Howard Dean said it would not be responsible to leave right now. I think the last poll I saw had about 55% of the country agreeing...between 50 and 55. I don't know how I feel.

I think instead of venting all your anger toward the chairman of the party for expressing an opinion that is a responsible one...whether you agree or not....that you should take time and write the ones who voted Yes on the IWR in October of 2002.

Tell them you think we should make it the policy of the Democratic party to get our troops out. See what they say about it. There are organized attempts now to question Dean's statement. Before we start having all the boards filled with this, first write the ones who voted to take us there in the first place. Hold them responsible.

And before anyone starts with the "can't stand criticism of Howard Dean" crap, think what I am saying here. He and Kucinich were against the war, yet the ones who voted yes, the ones who still think we should stay...they are getting no flak at all. Dean can not set policy, he gave an opinion. Talk to the ones who can set policy.
