Many corporate execs have democratic ideals, especially on social issues (don't flame me), but the bottom line is the only thing that really counts. So Clinton went centrist to tap into the money, and passed NAFTA and went after the corporate dough.

Rove went after the fundies and a conservative agenda to build a base of voters and rebut the leakage that was happening due to Clinton's shift. They are acquiescing to them now on the judge issue even though a majority of judges are Republican. This is all about votes and consolidating their power and has nothing to do with their religious beliefs.

Does anyone really believe Georg re Bush is a fundamentalist Christian? He seems like a man with no morals taking the path he is told to.
