I had heard most of what they showed because I also watched all of the 911 commission hearings, but it's much more gruesome when on film.

Something still keeps me from criticizing the FAA, Air Traffic Controllers, etc though. Americans always looked at violent attacks like these as something that happens in Israel, Pakistan, Sudan, and places like that, but not here! Was that stupid and naieve? Of course! But I'm just a guilty. I used to watch the films of the violence in Israel and ask, why do those people stay there? Hell, I'd move!

Having said that...what do you think would have been the response if the US Military, FAA and NORAD had really been on top of this, and had shot down 4 US passenger jets before they did their fatal attacks? What if our intelligence had been good enough to really know what the intent of those terrorists was?

Would we have believed it? I'm not sure I would have.

I know it's playing the what if game, but I can't stop thinking about that.
