You know, the righties can whine about Chavez all they want. But Chavez has never conscripted child soldiers. Chavez has never backed an insurgency in a neighboring country that would assault government controlled areas and cut off the hands of all civilians there so they couldn't grow food for the government soldiers. Chavez's forces have never set up rape rooms, or ravaged and robbed the countryside, looting, raping and beating civilians. Charles Taylor did all this while dictator of Liberia. Instead Chavez has expanded aid to the poor and improved health care, social services and education for many of the most poverty-stricken people in his nation. Which is more Christ-like?

And which one does Robertson call for the assasination of? And which one does Robertson defend and argue should be left in power?

Hmmm. I think Pat needs to read his Bible some more.
