Who else finds the 'Allegiance to Bush' thing a little unsettling?

"Thou shalt not bash Bush" seems to be a new Commandment that some RW'ers are pushing.

"We owe it to the President" - Legislators are talking about owing Bush, if anything, it is Bush who owes everyone else all the power he has.

"The world will rally behind Bush" (whenever there is a Terrorist attack, but when there's not, it is proof that Bush's thing formerly called the 'war on terror' is working)

Many people seem to be forsaking the pledge of allegiance they took every day when they were children, it seems as though Bush is the person that must have allegiance sworn to.

Frankly, I find it kind of scary.
