WASHINGTON - Protesters rallied Friday outside the offices of the Christian Broadcasting Network, demanding that the Federal Communications Commission investigate whether CBN's license should be suspended or revoked over evangelist Pat Robertson's call this week for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Robertson apologized Wednesday for the remarks, but the Rev. Lennox Yearwood, president of Hip Hop Caucus, a grass-roots youth organization, said an apology is not enough.

"I was blown away that one Christian was calling for the death of another Christian," Yearwood said, raising his voice to the crowd. "That is beyond cruel. That is criminal."
