Does something seem a bit obvious or staged about Bush's indifference?

To me it seems obvious the press is trying to make Bush look as bad as possible especially with the photo ops. And it's not that difficult to do.

However, it does seem as though he is being told where to go and what to do. It has seemed to me George Bush has almost always been following orders from someone.

Meanwhile, where is Dick Cheney?

He doesnt seem too worried about New Orleans, and we wouldnt know because he hasn't come out from his bunker.

No word from the Vice president, his wife Lynn and more interestingly, no criticism and/or even attention towards him.

Its all very persistently and negatively focused on George Bush, which is understandable and yet where's Cheney?

With George Bush, its as if he's being dictated to do what he is doing. In other words, the guitar deal to me looks like 'here George, play the guitar so we can get some photos". Its all looks staged.

Why?

I wonder if he is more intentionally now being set up to look this way to Americans?

Is it just me? I guess my honest conclusion is I am now looking for what the media is not showing me. I could care less what it is trying to shove in my face. I believe that's what they want me to look at, versus what we should be looking at.

I think most of us seem to agree that Cheney, is probably the one who is actually running the show. So why no mention of the quiet facilitator (nice way to put it I know)and all the harshest most obvious spotlight on Bush. Seems a bit um, eery, to me.

Something seem a bit strange here?
