And she voted for Bush's war and tax cuts as well (all of which have taken money that should have gone toward repairing the leeves and funding FEMA). I don't think she went along with Bush's budget though but then again I could be wrong.

She hasn't served the economic interests of the poor in La for a while (though of course Vitter and the oukes are even worse so anything they say now is extremely disingenuous). In fact I can't think of a single southern senator (of either party) that votes in favor of the poor and middle class.
