I lost hope for our nation when he said he doesn't watch the news...and we didn't get rid of him right then and there. It said it all. Just the fact that our president could say something like that and get away with it showed how far we'd fallen. And no, I don't think we're going to get back up.

We might have been okay, with oil shortages and droughts. We might have been okay, with global warming, health care crisis, an over-polluted environment and fishing indusries falling, and maybe not worry too much about our third-world infant mortality and highest levels of stress and depression, and don't forget our number one standing in prisoners. We might have been okay.

But for the fact that we elected a group of people that never wanted us to be okay in the first place. We might have been okay. But we let the wolves in, and all they want is blood money.
