He will go down as one the best Presidents in history. Recovering New Orleans with a giant works program is so FDR.

Personally I think think he was lying through his teeth, but Walt, your right, lets praise the plan and force him to stick with it.

Then again, I wonder if maybe he sees a chance for true greatness and is reaching for the brass ring.

He's gonna lose a big chunk of his base over this, but maybe gain a bigger chunk.

It's hard to tell at this point, but I tend to think he's lying and just posturing.
